Growing up in Iran, where young people escape to the deserts to organize illegal raves, our resident artist SUR:RIAL discovered his fascination with hypnotic acid lines and hard bass. Once he arrived in Germany, this fascination evolved into an unwavering passion,  leading him to join our DARKNESS family at day one and establish his own collective called "Triebwerk."

SUR:RIAL's techno sets offer a blend of tempo, intensity, and explosive energy, while also incorporating groove and modular influences. He enjoys incorporating electrifying vocal samples and cunning loops that captivate any audience. With a repertoire spanning genres such as Hard-Techno, Trance, HardGroove, and House tunes, SUR:RIAL has become a broadly positioned music connoisseur.
